Christmas Offering

Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

We now embark on an ancient journey known as the season of Advent, continuing a tradition of setting aside the coming weeks to prepare for the celebration of Christ’s birth at Christmas. We also stand on the promise of Christ’s return, living in the Hope of the Resurrection, and spreading the Kingdom of God on earth, as it is in Heaven.

The Lord calls us to know Him and to make Him known. This is our focus at St. Timothy, one that can be seen within the following pages. These ministries and missions, along with many more acts of mercy and grace, focus on sharing the Good News that Jesus Christ is Lord. Found here are uplifting stories and evidence of the good work God is doing in us and through us. These wonderful things would not be happening without your faithful support.

You will also find more information about making a special 2016 Christmas Offering gift to the church, as well as making your financial pledge for next year. Please be prayerful about how God is guiding you to continue and further your support of His church. May you hear God calling you to support this work with your prayers, presence, gifts and service, as a witness of Jesus Christ.

During worship services on the weekend of December 18th, there will be an opportunity to receive your Christmas Offering. You may also choose to use the enclosed card and envelope to mail your much needed gift to the church today.

By faith, we are already giving thanks for your special Christmas gift, your 2017 pledge, and your commitment to being a vital, sustaining part of St. Timothy on the Northshore.

Let’s continue to give joyfully and serve faithfully.

Yours in Christ,

James Mitchell
Lead Pastor

We recognize that credit cards can be an efficient tool for some individuals in the ordinary course of their personal business. Therefore, we are making use of credit cards for donations available for those that choose to do so. As you decide what method to give, we would encourage donors to keep these things in mind:

  • Please do not add to ongoing credit card debt with donations to St. Timothy.
  • Please bear in mind that when a donor uses a VISA, Master Card or Discover credit card or debit card, the church is accessed a fee. While ACH, debit cards, and credit cards all carry a per transaction fee when giving online, the credit cards and debit cards also carry a percentage fee for usage.
  • Those wishing to give electronically might consider giving through online bill payment at your bank. Most banks do not charge for this service, and there are no fees for the church. You tell your bank how much to send and they cut and mail St. Timothy a check. If they ask you for an account or provide a memo line, simply put which fund you want your donation to be allocated.

We deeply appreciate your giving to the ministry of St. Timothy. If we may serve you in any way or provide any other information, please do not hesitate to contact our Finance Office at 985.626.3307.
