Our mission at St. Timothy is to express the love of Christ through “Caring for Others," wherever that may send us.  That may look like building water wells in Kenya, like bringing a meal to an ill neighbor, or simply driving a golf cart on Sunday mornings.  We each have a mission, and one of our goals is to partner with you, so you can discover your mission field.

So where do you begin?  The great Apostle Peter wrote, “Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms."  Every Christian has a Spiritual Gift given by God to accomplish His plan for your life. See Romans 12, I Corinthians 12, and Ephesians 4 in your Bible. We encourage you to check out online spiritual gifts surveys, such as the links below, that are designed to identify what your unique gifts may be.

In addition to your Spiritual Gifts, your natural abilities can inform how and where you are being sent.
  • Life experience can give you insight and sympathy to help others going through similar situations.
  • Special knowledge such as medical training, technical skills, or construction expertise can open doors for ministry.
  • Talents such as musical, artistic or athletic ability can and should be used to glorify God.
Our doors are always open to help you discern your direction.  Call the church office or email any of our pastors to schedule a meeting to discuss and pray through your decision.  If you know what your passion and gifts are, or want to see areas where you might serve, check out our “Serve” page to get involved in one of our many exciting ministry areas.
